Dancing in Louboutins
The most celebrated Parisian cabaret Forever Crazy is now dominating London’s South Bank; imagine Moulin rouge with added glamour and a dash of humour.
Forever Crazy takes place in a huge high-class circus tent, which at first glance sets the suggestive tone of the evening. Once you set foot into the velvet lined big top you are immediately engulfed into the shows sensual decadence.
The classically-trained dancers are a far cry from the “high class strippers” that they have been dubbed, show me a stripper that can perform en pointe and in a sky high pair of Louboutins and I will reconsider. These talented dancers really do bring sexy to London’s famous South Bank.
The set-up of the purpose-built venue, the lighting effects, choice of music and the amazingly talented and beautiful girls are just a few good reasons for you to get yourselves down to see this inventive cabaret.
The hall was filled with groups of girls, older couples and the odd uncomfortable-looking single man. It is definitely a place to visit with a group of girls however, if they could manage not to look completely awkward the whole way through it, then I am sure boys would enjoy the show.
Tickets can be bought from £25 and it is £15 for a bottle of wine. The world class bar tenders can knock up a never ending list of fun cocktails all priced between £7-£11, plus if you get yourself to the venue early not only do you get to enjoy the venue to its full potential, but there are also discounted drinks. It would not be the cheapest of nights out but I assure you it will be impossible to forget.
The producer of Forever Crazy, Harvey Goldsmith CBE is one of the UK’s best known music industry impresarios; he has produced and promoted shows with The Rolling Stones, The Who, Bruce Springsteen, The Eagles, Led Zeppelin and Sting. So of course the show is bound to be amazing.
Would I want to see if again? Hell yeah – I want to be in it.
The event is only running until the 16th of December so sure to get your tickets quickly.
