Comic-Con London MCM Expo took place over the weekend at the ExCeL Centre in London Docklands.
The event has gained increasing popularity over the years, selling over 60,000 tickets in the last year. Fans of comics, TV shows, films, Japan, Youtubers, games and books can purchase day or weekend tickets and choose when they want to come – they are encouraged to dress up – or “cosplay” – as their favourite characters.
The event offers MCM goers the chance to play the latest games and future releases; they also offer the latest releases in manga, anime, and TV shows, and have a platform screen where you can watch adverts for future films. MCM also plays host to numerous guests from popular shows and artists where they can talk about their projects and answer fan questions; they also have autograph panels where fans can pay for an autograph and a photo.
MCM Expo has events in London in May and October each year, and other events in Manchester and Glasgow.
