The Mispers [Paul Hudson]

Monday 21:

Influenced by bands like The Maccabees, Bombay Bicycle Club, and The XX; The Mispers describe their music as “energetic both physically and emotionally”.

Tuesday 22:

Club: dollop Present: Gang Colours; Concrete, 56 Shoreditch High Street. 7pm til 11pm. £10

Gang Colours, aka Will Ozanne, is definitely one to watch. Signed to Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood Recordings, Ozanne has since released the critically acclaimed In Your Gut Like a Knife and is about to release his debut album, The Keychain Collection.

Artists Anonymous exist in a world of inversion and opposites; contradiction and play. Look out for delving down a rabbit hole beneath the garden to enter a world of mystery and wonder.

Thursday 24:

Club: Sessions; Corsica Studios, 5 Farrell Court, Elephant & Castle. 11pm til 3am. Free Entry on Facebook or £3 on the door

Corsica Studios’ famous Thursday night ‘Sessions’ invites you to the best free party around. Gritty minimal tech, dance and deep house will keep you on your feet all night long.

Friday 25:

Club: George Fitzgerald + Midland + Andrés + Medlar; XOYO, 32-37 Cowper Street. Advanced Tickets £12.50

2013 has been a huge year for George Fitzgerald and he will undoubtedly make this a night to remember. Support comes from Midland, Andrés and Medlar.

Club: Krankbrother Halloween with Pan-Pot, Ellen Allien, Troy Pierce and Ivan Smagghee; Location TBC. Final Release Tickets: £30

Krankbrother are returning for their annual fancy dress Halloween party in exceptionally spooky style.

Saturday 26:

Club: Random Magic Halloween with Omar S, Futureboogie Recs, Horse Meat Disco vs Classic Recs and Optimo; Fire, South Lambeth Road. 10pm til 7am. Advanced Tickets £17.50

With summer well out of the way and Halloween creeping onto the calendar, RANDOM MAGIC cast a spell on the newly relaunched FIRE to carry on the early Halloween celebrations.

Sunday 27: 

Art: Alternative London’s Street Art Tour and Workshop; 1-3 Rivington Street.

After the haze of your heavy Saturday night, head over to Rivington Street to nurse that hangover and get creative. Enjoy one of Alternative London’s street art tours around East London before sitting down for a relaxing spray painting workshop.
