UAL talent: Holly Wyatt

Everyday Arts London News aims to showcase a talent from within University of the Arts. If you are interested in being featured, get in touch.

Today photographer Holly Wyatt takes centre stage.

Holly Wyatt is a photographer based in London. She is currently a second year student on the BA Photography at London College of Communication. Holly has pursued her interests in the arts, psychology and photography since her a-levels, and undertook an Art Foundation at Abingdon and Witney College before enrolling at LCC.

The Oxford native enjoys probing peoples’ beliefs through her photography, taking special interest in the role of technology and the obsessive qualities it brings about in us. Holly started researching the role of God within Facebook after realising many people use the platform to share their religious beliefs.

The LCC student said: “Is new technology really progression? I wanted to play with this concept and create a piece that reflected this idea.” In her satirical project: The Facebook Religion, Holly wants to provoke the viewer to consider this question.
