A talented UAL alumnus has been working on a new British drama thriller directed by Danny Boyle.
Production designer Mark Tildesley, 49, is working on Trance, a story about a fine art auctioneer who conspires with a gang of thieves to steal a Goya masterpiece from a public auction.
The film is written by British television writer, Joe Ahearne, and award-winning British screenwriter, John Hodge, and stars James McAvoy, Rosario Dawson and Vincent Cassel.
Tildesley has been a production designer for over two decades after graduating from London College of Communication and Wimbledon College of Art.
This is not the first time he has collaborated with Boyle, as he was a designer for British horror 28 Days Later, British children’s comedy Millions and the British science fiction adventure thriller, Sunshine – for which he won a British Independant Film Award (BIFA).
He also helped design the summer Olympics opening ceremony last year.
Trance is scheduled to be released on March 27.
